We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced air conditioning engineer for a permanent role to cover the west of Scotland on a mobile basis. The successful candidate will be working with a national company with UK coverage.

Ideally you will have worked with a facilities management company recently doing air conditioning maintenance work.

 

Duties include:

  • You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, installation, proactive and reactive works on site for all air conditioning equipment.
  • To effectively use handheld technology for all planned and reactive works.
  • To be fully aware of contractual requirements.
  • Remain fully aware of customer needs at all times.
  • To ensure all paperwork and administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are kept maintained and up to date.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Applicants must be a time served air conditioning engineer with City & Guilds FGAS 2079.
  • Experience in dealing with all types of air conditioning installation, service, maintenance, and repair within the services sector.
  • Knowledge of BMS systems.
  • Ideally you will have substantial experience working on large commercial contracts.
  • Happy working in client facing environments.
  • IEE 17th Edition Regulations would be an advantage.
  • Strong customer care focus.
  • Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
  • High levels of communication skills.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced disclosure Scotland check.

 

The successful candidate will be based in Glasgow.

 

£32,000 + overtime + on call allowance.
